I whole heartedly agree with Shariq and Maryam. So how do we unleash the hidden potential of the younger generation in Amroha? We need to show them and convince them that any thing is possible. We profile some role models. We tell them stories. We show them what the possibilities are. We tell them that there is really no difference between them and the successful people from Amroha – it’s only that these successful people made a few decisions and they knew what they wanted to do in life – in other words they had/have a dream.
Once we know what we want to do, the next question that we need to answer is:
2. What are we doing today to accomplish our dreams?
Shariq Hasan, (at 6:42AM Wednesday 14th of May 2008, GMT)
During my recent visit to Amroha I noticed the difference in dreaming between those living in Amroha and those Amrohivis living outside Amroha.
Those living in Amroha lack the drive while those living outside dream big and are doing very well.

Dreaming big with an action plan and lot of hard work is the only way of success that I know.
Shariq Hasan, (at 5:06AM Friday 25th of April 2008, GMT)
I agree with others that we need to dream big.
Probably the most important thing that we could teach our Amroha children is dreaming.

In my experience passion to achieve your dreams and hard work to achieve them are most critical. Hard work can even compensate for lack of talent.
Ikram Naqvi, (at 1:48AM Tuesday 18th of March 2008, GMT)
Agree with you completely.
Dream followed by a action plan to achieve the dream and HARD WORK are the most important ingredients for success.

Care more than others think wise.
Risk more than others think safe.
Dream more than others think practical.
Expect more than others think possible.
And yes, a big yes, you can do it. We all can do whatever we want. So the first important thing is to find out what we really want in life. What is our passion? What drives us? What is the meaning of life? Why are we here for?
First and foremost, I request you all to start asking the following question and answer in your own minds.
1. What do you want to do in life?
Some of us already know it, some will know it soon. But it is highly important. If you don?t know what you want, the chances are you may not get it. But once we know it, nothing can stop you realizing that. You do move heaven and earth to get there. Entrepreneurship is all about realizing your dreams. In this discussion, let us share our experiences of entrepreneurship as we all have experienced in life.
Always remember, when you see a successful enterprise, some made a courageous decision. Courage is one of the most important element of realizing your passion.
So let the journey continue with fun!
Your fellow Amrohi

Very interesting subject. I have thought about it a lot recently. It appears hat our destiny is written as we often finish up doing things that we had no control or planned for it.I know that we cant ever prove but we can pontificate.

Very intersting subject. I myself have thought about these questions. There appears to be a path marked out for us. Things often happen to us that we have no control on or have planned.
Love to hear from others as I dont have any firm views.
Ikram Naqvi, (at 8:08AM Friday 12th of February 2010, GMT)
Have you ever thought why we have come to this earth?
Do we have a task to do?
Is it karma?
Why were we born in a particular family with a certain religion and country?
Why some people are so poor?
Why some people are so unlucky while others so lucky?
What makes us happy?
Why top religeous people are males yet half of world’s population is female?
Why people kill each other in the name of religion when all religions tell you to love each other.
Dont we have hell and heaven on earth?
I invite your comments.

ajal sar par khari hai waqt hai ab bhi chale aao
kisi ki aakhri hasrat ko thukrayaa nahi karte
Unhen behre havadis main kabhi sahil nahi milta
safine jinke toofanon se takrayaa nahi karte
Hamen hi saath lailo gar koi sathi nahin milta
ke tanha mehfile aghyar main jaayaa nhai karte
Fana ab ishq ki toheen hai khamosh hojao
jafai yaar ke qisson ko dohraya nahi karte
